Plan Your Visit
Going to a church for the first time can be intimidating. To help ease your way and answer your questions, we wanted to provide you a summary of what you can expect at Crossroads Community Church. First, while we strive to grow spiritually at CCC, we’re all regular people with everyday struggles—and we all had a first day at church, too. If you don’t understand something, please send us an email or give us a call (you’ll find we’re pretty friendly and welcoming). We’ll even plan your first visit with you. Simply fill out the form at the bottom of the page, and we’ll arrange to have a hospitality team member welcome you properly!

June- August

Nursery (4 – 48 months) and
Children’s Church (preK – 2nd grade) is available.
We start our Sunday Mornings with Sunday School (which runs from just after Labor Day to just before Memorial Day) for all ages (preK through adult) at 9:00 a.m. Our Sunday Morning Worship service begins after Sunday School in the multi-purpose room.
Worship Service
Our worship service features a mix of contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns. The Bible-based message aims to explain God’s Word in a way that applies to your life today. Whether you’re looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years, we want to encourage you to draw closer to God through participating in a worshiping community.
Children of any age are welcome in the worship service. However, we do have a great nursery for children ages 3 months up through 4 years that includes age-appropriate Bible stories and songs. Older children (preK through second grade) begin worship with their parents in the multi-purpose room. After the doxology, parents have the option of taking their children to Children’s Church or keeping them in the worship service.
After the service, we’d love for you to stay for light refreshments and good conversation. It’s a great way to connect with others. We will also have a gift for you at the Connections Center.
Communion
At Crossroads, Communion (The Lord’s Supper) is a sacred, once-a-month celebration of the loving sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for sinners like us. We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of every month. It is a remembrance of what He did for us and a welcoming of His ongoing presence and grace in our lives. It’s open to all (3rd grade and older) who have publicly professed their faith in Christ at Crossroads or another gospel-believing church. We offer a Communicant’s Class every fall for children 3rd grade and older, so we can teach them the gospel and the meaning of Communion. Then, for those children who are ready, the elders of the church interview them and officially admit them to the Lord’s Table.
Please send us an e-mail with your questions, call us, or pull us aside when you visit so we get the right information in your hands to help you discern God’s leading in your life. Please plan to join us on Sunday!
Offering
We view giving as a part of worship, but it is not expected of our guests. We offer traditional passing of the plate during service. We also have a designated boxes in the church where you may put cash or checks. If you wish to make an online donation, you can do that at any time by visiting our “Give” page on our website.
Youth
Junior and Senior High meets for Sunday School every week at 9:00 a.m. during the school year, investigating and discussing God’s Word and looking at how it applies to student life. Our youth ministry is led by our Director of Youth Ministries, Joel Smith. Our youth group meets every Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. at the church during the regular school calendar. If you want more information about this ministry, please contact Joel Smith.
Infants and Toddlers
Crossroads has a nursery for children 4 months to four years old equipped with all the supplies needed to help children feel safe and comfortable and have a good time, giving you an opportunity to really focus on the worship service. When in the nursery, children get to know more about God and His Word with age-appropriate Bible stories, games and crafts. Find out more information in the children’s ministries section.
For Those with Disabilities
We welcome you! Our one-level facility and its restrooms are easily accessible for those with disabilities. We have handicapped parking spaces near the front entrance to the building. Please let us know of your needs, and we will certainly try to meet them.
What to Wear
God looks at your heart in worship more than he looks at your clothes (1 Samuel 16:7). He wants us to give Him our best, whether that be dressing formally or coming casually. Don’t let this concern you too much; we have people who dress at both ends of the spectrum.
The Rest of the Week
Sunday morning is a great start for connecting with God and others, but it is by no means the end of our ministry week. Opportunities during the week are designed to help you learn more about what it means to follow Jesus: community groups, men’s and women’s Bible studies, youth groups, fellowship events and lots more.
First Time Visitors, Let Us
Welcome You Properly
We want you to feel as comfortable as possible here. Let us know you are coming by the Saturday before your planned visit, and we’ll arrange a hospitality volunteer to help you navigate your first visit. Please include all visitors’ names and ages, so we can prepare your welcome kit and plan ahead of time.
