Meet our Senior Pastor

Scott Dean

Scott helped found the church in 1998 and has served as Senior Pastor for 26 years.  He is a 1990 graduate of Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He earned his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois and was ordained as a PCA pastor in 1995. He served as Assistant Pastor for Christ Community Church from 1994-98, before starting Crossroads. He and his wife Laurel have been married for 33 years and are blessed with four children, two of whom are married: Micah and daughter-in-law Morgan, Jonathan and daughter-in-law Rina, Madeleine and soon to be son-in-law Cam, and Grace.  He also has a wonderful grandson Owen. Scott enjoys watching sports, working in the yard, reading history books, and drinking gourmet coffee.
